That makes sense - I’m glad I’m not a writer, because I’d be so frustrated if I didn’t have control over my own headlines.

As much as the writer may suck, it’s probably some editor responsible for headlines. I sometimes shudder at the headlines written for my stories on wcco.com.

I agree with you that the OMG WOMAN article is not impressive, and that the Star Tribune sucks in general (to be fair, I haven’t read it in over a year), but why the hate for the MIA? It’s free, which made it a place for poor 32-yr old white me. Maybe you’re more of a Walker gal, which is fine. I went to the Walker once and it filled me with anxiety and rage, and I had to pay for it besides.
