Saint Sabrina’s
I have a love-hate relationship with Saint Sabrina’s. I’ll admit it.
Back when I was a teen I wanted to shop there, but couldn’t really afford much (damn you good looking but insanely overpriced shoes)… and I couldn’t fit into their clothing.
Now, as an adult, I look to Saint Sabrina’s for jewelry.
Two years ago I bought 1″ hoops for my ears (10 gauge).
Today I bought 1 1/2″ hoops for my ears (again 10 gauge), a new stud for my nose (star), and a hoop for my nose.
When I went in earlier this week to special-order the earrings, the staff/women who helped me were freaky and abrupt.
“Don’t touch your ears! Don’t touch your piercings!”
Tonight, when I went in to pick up my earrings, the folks working were all super nice and the piercer was extra helpful and friendly.
Guess it just depends on who’s working.
The new space is interesting… very sanitary/sterile looking - doesn’t look much like a “parlor in purgatory” anymore.

I totally have encountered the rude, abrupt, staff in the piercing area as well. I haven’t been to the new location yet, but need new jewelery - so I’ll have to see how it is when I go in next.

I hate the new location. It’s small and ugly and they don’t carry any of the kickass shoes and clothing that they used to. Did they have to relocate and downsize because of financial difficulties or something?
