Believe it or not, Fergie’s new catchy song isn’t really about the London Bridge or the cute nursery rhyme for that matter. The Black Eyes Peas hit solo single is really about a foursome sex orgy - the horror!

i believe this refers to the original nursery rhyme which it has been speculated to mean impitance and that london bridge represents the penis

Maybe it just means that she feels weak every time that person is around. London Bridge came down because it was weak and then was built up stronger. Just a thought.

oh gosh…let’s get historical……like in the 1200’s some queen failed to recontruct and maintain the london bridge and thats why it fell..honestly……so maybe when fergie says her ‘london bridge want to go down’ refers to her persona as everytime she wants to to the ‘right’ thing (as not being a ho) she obviously gives in and becomes one….and therefore meaning its hard not being horny…and thats why her london bridge keeps wanting to fall…. yeh……something like that……hahah

i heard Fergie talking about her new single “London Bridge” on the radio. She said it’s controversial [like always] and that there is a meaning behind it.

This may appear twice. Sorry if it does.
This could be two things:
1. London bridge as representation of her vaginal lips. When “up”, they are open, but when in coitus, the lips are closed, or “down”.
2. “London bridge is falling down” is the nursery rhyme. In that game two people trap a third person in between them until the third person does something to get out (the Tower of London is over by the bridge). This could be what she’s getting at as well.

Beyond the fact that she could be refering to her vaginal lips coming together in sex (Bridge is up, they’re open, but bridge is down, and they are closed), this could seriously be in reference to the nursery rhyme “London bridge is falling down”.
When originally played, two people would trap a third person in the middle and keep them there. Seriously.
That’s my guess.
