Tonight, I went to The Uptown Bar and saw Scream Club (and others).
WHAT A GREAT SHOW!
I’m so glad that I went!
Not only did I get to dance like crazy and grin from ear to ear, but also - I ran into an old, dear friend from high school.
An amazing evening.
And to think - I almost didn’t leave home.
It was a Homocore show (damn, homocore really needs to get a website) - which I assumed was extinct (haven’t heard a peep about homocore minneapolis since the 90s) - but apparently homocore is back!

Long story short, Scream Club is amazing (and hilarious) live.
If you ever get a chance, check ‘em out - just don’t forget to bring your dancin’ shoes.

glad you had fun. we are still booking homocore shows and we do have a website… http://www.myspace.com/homocore
there are three shows in august, including a visit from brooklyn NY’s The Shondes on august 4th. i am old school and not the best with the blogging, and myspace seems to be the most user friendly, so that’s where you will find us. and quite possibly overheard on the bus, i regularly take the 4 and the 18.
